Transferring group ownership
If you ever need to leave the group that you administer, you will need to transfer ownership to another person. Here’s how.
Ensure that your successor is a member of your group (invite them if necessary)
Modify your successor’s group roles to set them as a group administrator.
Contact the Web Team and request that your successor be made the group manager. Be sure to include their username in your request!
The Web Team will change the group owner. This new group manager will now receive all group-related notifications, and you’ll be off the hook!
