Beyond Basic Pages: Using the "other" content types on AGNR's websites

Description/Notes:

If you watched a Drupal basics website training recently, you’re probably familiar with the News Story, Event, and Page content types available on AGNR’s websites. However, in total, there are at least 10 content types you can create (the exact number depends on the site you’re working on and your permissions level). In the basic training, these content types are very quickly skimmed over. In this training, we will take a more in-depth look at the less frequently used types of content and what they are good for.

Specifically, this training will cover:

  • Sidebar
  • Newsletter
  • Photo Gallery
  • Webform
  • Educational Article / Handbook Page (Extension/Research sites)
  • Biography (AGNR and Department sites)

The training will last an hour. The amount of time spent on each topic will be determined based on interest level, so if there is any particular content type you especially want to learn about, be sure to note it in the comments field when you register!
